CAR API/CAP

Build on the alerts CAR collects, or connect a receiver to them.

The CAR API provides JSON endpoints for alerts and announcements.

The CAP feed publishes active alerts as an IPAWS-compatible Atom feed. Receivers can check the update URL to see when the feed last changed.

A civil authority has issued A PRACTICE/DEMO WARNING for the following counties/areas: New Hampshire; at 3:09 PM on SEP 6, 2026 Effective until 4:09 PM. Message from IPAWSCAP. The New Hampshire State Police has activated the New Hampshire Emergency Alert System in order to conduct a practice demo.  This concludes this test of the New Hampshire Emergency Alert System. No action required.
